I am often asked during fittings or via e-mail if there is somewhere women can send old or unwanted bras for a worthwhile cause.  Having done some research on this, I recently came across a new campaign – Bra Bank – which was launched on 1st April 2011.

The charity initiative, which is fronted by Bianca Gascoigne, was set-up to give woman a place to send unwanted bras to “support” a very important cause.  As stated on the website,

“Most of the bras, be they sexy lacy numbers or plain over-shoulder-boulder-holders, will go to remote villages in Kenya and Zimbabwe through charity, Villages of Hope, enabling those in need to gain physical support and comfort with the help of a pre-loved bra.”

I am sure if all ladies had a look through their lingerie drawer they would find unwanted or wrong fitting bras that they could donate to this worthwhile cause and help other women all over the world.

Why not have a look and see what’s in your lingerie drawer today!!
