Ripping the Seams
Grab the scissors or the seam ripper and take out the seam covering the end of the hook. Make sure to take out only the hem of the damaged hook and not the one that is still functioning and then remove the damaged hook.
The second step when learning how to fix a bra strap hook is to insert a new hook in the old hook place and make sure to do a hidden seam into it so that you won't have to worry about it showing or being undone.
Next, and the last step, when learning how to fix a bra strap loop, is to test the bra and make sure that the hook does not undo from the way you have sewn it into place.

Bra Tips and Tricks
Now that you know how to fix a bra strap loop, I will teach you some bra tips and tricks that will surely change your life.
Poking Underwire Bra
This is one of the most problematic and annoying situations that I have encountered since wearing a bra. It is when the underwire of the bra keeps on poking out.
It happens when a part of your draw grows too thin, causing the wire or a section of the wire to come out or poke out. Do not panic.
You can buy a moleskin pad and then sew it into the part of your bra with the poking wire.
If you need to be at a party and don't have anything else to wear but that off-shoulder dress or that tube dress, you won't have to worry about your bra straps showing because you can now turn those regular bras into a strapless bra.
You can take the regular bra strap, hook it to the back of your bra on the other side of your body, and then bring it around the back and attach it into the back of your bra on the opposite side.
Painful Bra Straps?
Now here is another situation that leaves more girls choiceless, and some stop using bras altogether.
It's when the bra straps dig into your shoulders, causing it to have rashes or being very painful and even itchy. The perfect solution or prevention for this is to grab a silicone pad and slide it in between your shoulder blades and the bra strap to make sure that it does not have any contact with your skin, thus preventing irritation.
If you love wearing backless dresses and blouses, you can go ahead and grab that old bra and then sew its pads or foam into a backless dress or blouse so that you won’t have to worry about finding the perfect pair of bra for your backless.
This time, if you are into wearing racerbacks for a workout or dance routines, you can go ahead turn your bra into a racerback by using a pen or a paper clip to join both straps at the back.
Handwash Sports Bra
Next, it is recommended for you to bring your sports bra with you in the shower after you work out. This will make the bra last longer and less conducive to wear and tear.
